MONDAY AND THURSDAY
WALKING THE BAROSSA
A FULL DAY’S TOUR IN THE FAMOUS BAROSSA VALLEY, APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR’S DRIVE NORTH OF ADELAIDE.
We drive through the Aussie countryside associated with the TV program ‘McLeod’s Daughters’ and have a refreshment break at the fascinating “Whispering Wall”. (Tea and coffee provided.)
We will walk in a national park in the Barossa Valley for approximately 3 hours over 6 kilometres where we will have lunch. (Purchased at our break en route.)
The day ends with a drive through the wine region. There will be a chance to sample the Barossa wines at 2 wineries, before you are returned to your accommodation.

TUESDAY AND FRIDAY WALKING DEEP CREEK
A FULL DAY’S TOUR IN DEEP CREEK NATIONAL PARK, APPROXIMATELY ONE AND A HALF-HOUR’S DRIVE SOUTH OF ADELAIDE.
We drive along the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula to the historic Talisker Silver Mine with a short walk along an interpretive trail and a pause for lunch. (Purchased at our break en route.)
We will then walk in Deep Creek National Park for approximately 3 hours over 6 kilometres.
Our return journey takes us through the famous wine area of McLaren Vale and a chance to taste wines at 2 wineries, before returning to your accommodation.

WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY
WALKING ANSTEY’S HILL
A HALF DAY TOUR IN ANSTEY’S HILL CONSERVATION PARK, A SHORT DRIVE FROM ADELAIDE.
Within minutes we leave the suburbs behind and we could be miles from anywhere!
This walk offers much that is associated with the bush, but human projects and history are never far away. Enjoy scenic creek valleys and soaring ridges.
The bushwalk is approximately 6 kilometres in length and will take about 3 hours.
Our return journey takes us past a winery where we will stop for some wine tasting.
(Bring your own food and drinks.)
